Hello!
The works by Anglian Water to repair the water main (again) are now complete. In addition, improvement works to repair our car parking have been done by the water company. We’re acutely aware that the works they’ve done are not up to standard and there’s still some tidying up to be completed which we’ll follow up. Now we are in December we can really focus our attention to the Festive Season! There’s a lot going on at the Club and if you’ve not booked your place at one of our events, lunches or activities. Now is the time to do so!

Racketlon Results
On Sunday we held our Racketlon competition. 17 players battled it out in Table Tennis, Squash and Tennis. After some closely contested matches, the final saw Marcus Eatherton take on Richard Williams. After a close game of table tennis, Marcus pulled away in the Squash giving him an advantage going into the tennis leg. Despite some strong returns from Richard, Marcus came out victorious and was crowned our Racketlon Champion 2024. Thank you to Jack Bruce and Tom Philpot for organising, and a massive thank you to David from Racket Sport Services for providing the £50.00 voucher as our top prize!
Studio Gym Festive Fundraiser | Wednesday 11th December
Come and join us for our Coffee Morning raising funds for a NEW studio gym flooring and mirrors. The event starts at 10.30am and runs through till 12.30pm.
Delicious homemade cakes and savoury products will be available to buy.
Plus, there’s a luxurious Christmas hamper and a host of other prizes in our fundraiser raffle to be won!

Adult Club Doubles Tactics + Coffee with Pete
Starting on Wednesday 11th December there’s a new coaching session! Join our head coach Peter Richmond for a double’s tactics session, 11.15am – 12.30pm, and work on improving your doubles game ready for the new season! Sign up is available HERE
Squash and Gym Open Day | Saturday 18th January
Please make a note of the date in your diaries. We’ll send out further details in the New Year. Are you looking for a fun and healthy way to start 2024? Then come to our Gym and Squash open day on Saturday 18th January, 11am until 2.30pm! We have some special offers for you, free classes on offer and taster sessions will be available too. Everyone is welcome, no matter your fitness level or goals. Just pop by and see what we have to offer.

Our Christmas Market last Saturday kicked off our festivities this Christmas! It was a fabulous day which was very popular among members and visitors alike. Bravo to Rebecca and our team for organising this event and thanks to you for visiting. We’ll be looking to build on this event next year!

Princess Theatre | Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
Clacton’s biggest ever pantomime is on! Over in our neighbouring town, Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs is playing at the Princess Theatre this Christmas! Don’t miss this year’s spectacular pantomime featuring a superb cast and plenty of laughs. The show is available between 7th December and 29th December. More information can be found HERE

Our Thursday Night is Games Night continues with a range of games on offer and discounted drinks at the bar. We’ll be adding pizza soon, but not every week! We’re working on a schedule which we’ll post so you can plan ahead.
