Events & Hospitality Coordinator

We are now recruiting a full time permanent dynamic, proactive and experienced Events & Hospitality Coordinator who will be responsible for booking, managing and running members’, external and corporate events, including weddings.

The successful candidate will be required to work during events which include evenings, most of which take place on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a hands on role.

Applicants should possess the following attributes and experience:

• Event management qualification and/or minimum of three years

experience, ideally including weddings

• Possess the confidence to be the ‘go to’ and ‘can do’ person on the day

• Experience running both small and large events

• Experience managing staff

• Be customer focused, positive, reliable and calm in stressful situations

• Have food and beverage knowledge

• Have planning and financial skills, inc. MS office

• Be a team player as extensive liaison and communication with staff and other team members required

Salary £23,000 p.a. plus benefits

40 hours per week

The successful candidate must be able to manage their hours according to the requirements of the job.

Hospitality and Event Team Members

Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club is a multi-sport and social club with over 800 members providing both members and non-members with a wide variety of exciting events.

We currently have opportunities for hard-working, confident, and reliable individuals to join our Event and Hospitality team.

Employment is offered on a casual worker agreement basis, with most events taking place at weekends and/or in the evening . Immediate starts available.

Previous hospitality experience and flexibility in working hours are desirable. Key responsibilities of this varied role will include but would not be limited to the following:

 Assisting with room set up and clearance for all event types

 Serving and clearing food and beverages

 Assisting with general housekeeping pre and post function

 Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and appearance of all front and back

of house catering facilities are maintained

 Any other tasks as required by the Events/Hospitality Manager and the Bar Manager

To help deliver an excellent customer service, we are looking for team members

who:

· Promote a positive customer experience

· Have the ability to work using their own initiative

· Have the ability to operate in a professional manner whilst under pressure

· Have good communication skills

· Have cash handling/till operation experience

· Have experience in the hospitality industry

· Are motivated with excellent drive

Seasonal Part-time Cleaner

Seasonal Part-time Cleaner Required 

Duties to include:

Clearing tables

Wiping down tables hygienically

Taking glasses back to the bar (when bar staff are really busy)

Helping out the bar staff if necessary

Clearing poolside food from tables

Emptying bins

Replacing hand sanitiser

Replacing paper towels

Sweeping floors

Cleaning toilets

Cleaning swimming changing rooms

Finding customers who have not picked up their food

Keeping the whole area (outside, poolside, pool changing rooms, toilets, bar, ballroom etc) neat, tidy, and hygienically clean
