Hello!

Jingle, jangle and shake your bells! Christmas really is on the way. You’ll notice that the Club is looking super festive! Our thanks must go to Victoria Kunzer for decorating the trees and to our whole team for helping get everything ready. Thank you Glenys, Steve, Mark and Kat. Even Kim has agreed to be a little bit festive!

Another BIG thank you must go to King of Soho Gin. They have sponsored our trees this year (I hope you’ll agree they are magnificent!)… and also we are working on a special cocktail that will be served at the Carols with Caryll. Their gin is on sale at the Club if you fancy trying it for yourself. It’s won many awards and plaudits. It really is super.

Covid
Of course, with the new Omicron variant and revised government rules in place, we’ll have to be vigilant once again with regard to Coronavirus. By now, we all know the drill. When it comes to using face coverings, it’s at your discretion but please do stay away from the Club if you feel ill or have any of the symptoms and when it comes to using facilities indoors, please only turn up when you’re booked in to show up and please handover courts and facilities swiftly!

We appreciate your cooperation and hopefully we’ll all keep safe! As ever, as rules change, we’ll adapt as quickly as we can.

Events
In other news, we are almost at the time for our Christmas parties and lunches. If you’ve not booked yet? Please do so as soon as possible! We’re almost sold out on various events whilst others have some capacity.

And for the festive season, in addition to stocking our own house sparkles, Jarrow House, we’ll also have Taittinger champagne available to order. It’s just £48 a bottle for members (£60 for non-members) but it’s only available by pre-ordering. * Pop * * Fizz *

Sports
All our sports are underway with another squash tournament, mulled wine and mince pie tennis tournament and a while range of gym and fitness classes too. It’s busy at the Club and we hope you’ll get involved. As ever we are putting as many details as possible on the website. Or just enquire at the office for details.

BTW, we are stocking up on some lovely FOS|GYM hoodies now! Please place your order with us by next Thursday (9th) 10pm and we will make sure these are ready for collection before Christmas. Order online here.
