Hello!

Remember, remember the 5th of November… yes, fireworks night is upon us and then we really can drop the c-bomb. Christmas!

To do that we need your help! We are looking, once again, for a sponsor for the Club’s Christmas Trees. We need one biggy for the outside and one 8 footer for inside. And of course if it’s a business sponsorship? We’ll be happy to promote via our newsletter and the socials!

If you would like to sponsor the Club’s Christmas trees, please get in touch with Kim ASAP!

Whilst on the ask, the Board is looking for one or two people to help us put together, organise and promote social events at the Club. If you’re interested, please do get in touch with Kim or myself and we’d be happy to chat through what we’re looking for. Great events are such an integral part of the Club’s recovery plan and we are keen to use our amazing Club assets more. Is this role for you? We hope to hear from you!

Talking of events…

Fizztastic news…
For those who attended our AGM, we are planning a Jarrow House fizz tasting. Our Member, Sally Smith and her partner Robert Auld make it from the grapes grown at their small holding just outs Colchester. (Do have a try as it’s available at the bar!). We’ll keep you posted on that event which we are hoping to arrange for early 2022… meanwhile Festive Fizz Season alert! Christmas 2021 is a time to celebrate. As we can all be together this year. Jarrow House Vineyard had its best vintage yet in 2018. If you’d like to stock up? Please contact Sally on 07932735116 to place your order. Special prices for Club members. POP Fizz !
