The Budget has been and gone. Mr Hunt may not have bothered to pull any rabbits out of the hat but at least alcohol duties have been left static until at least February 2025, so our bar prices remain unaffected. And of course please do remember that you receive 20% off our listed prices as one of your benefits of Membership as long as you present your card at the bar!

And it’s worth mentioning that the ‘Thursday Night is Games Night’ has really caught on at the Club. Is it because you can play a whole host of bar sports and board games, catch up with friends and have a fun social evening? Or that we put on special drinks deals each week? For example, our very own Club FOS|LGR is just £2 a pint. Even for those of you who are a fan of the ‘Spoons… that’s a bargain! Come on down.

Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch

The Southern Rhone Wine Tasting & Dinner | Saturday 13th April

We’re organising another fabulous wine-tasting and dinner event at the Club. You’ll enjoy a variety of wines and learn more about their flavours and aromas. Plus, we will be serving a delicious dinner that perfectly complements the wines. This time it’s presented by our very own Club President, Martin Tinsley. And Steve Pryer, the former wine critic from the Evening Standard, will also be present. This is a fun way to spend an evening with your family or friends. 70’s Disco Extravaganza | Saturday 20th April

Get out your sequins, flairs and whatever other appalling monstrosities you can from your wardrobe! Following the success of our delve into the 1980’s, this time we’re sending our time machine back another decade to the 1970’s. Groovy! Journey to the decade that taste forgot in a symphony of brown, corduroy, crushed velvet and avocado at the Club, with funky music, dazzling lights and retro outfits. Frinton Squash Club Mini Squash Schools Festival | Thursday 28th March

We are thrilled to announce that we are hosting a Mini Squash Schools Festival on Thursday 28th March from 12.00 to 2.45pm. This will be a great opportunity for children to compete and discover the joy of squash.
This event is in partnership with Tendring School Games Organiser Richard Hunt and we are hoping to see many local schools participating.
