Hello! A slightly delayed newsletter from last week as on Friday we held the Club’s AGM. I wish to congratulate Victoria Kunzer on being re-elected and Gavin Downing on being elected to the Board. I am delighted to continue in my role as Club Chair. We have an ambitious plan to implement to continue our programme of change along with exciting events in the coming year. There is one more serious matter of fundraising that we also addressed and I will be writing separately to Members to explain the situation and what we need to achieve.

I’d like to extend my personal thanks to my fellow Board colleagues, committee chairs and committees who work very hard on the Club’s behalf. And to all our staff who work tirelessly to deliver for us throughout the year. And to you, our Members and visitors. To see who’s who at the Club we have refreshed the website with all the details HERE. And if you’d like to join? There’s plenty on offer.

I’ll write in more detail with the details of the AGM and our draft Minutes in due course.

Meanwhile on to the week’s news;
