I hope you’re coping with the cold snap of weather. It may be inclement outside but spare a thought for our thatchers who are moving full steam ahead to get the roof works done. It’s fascinating to watch them at work and to see the transformation in front of our eyes. Do pop down to have a look at the progress!

In other news, if you are receiving this newsletter but you’re not currently a Member of the Club or are interested in the full range of benefits or maybe upgrading your membership, there are plenty of benefits. Please do get in touch with the team who can give you more details. We are hoping to build our Membership this year and I guarantee there’s something for you. Whether it’s the gym and classes, tennis, racketball, squash, walking football and our croquet too. We offer memberships for individual categories or for everything to be included with our AAA Membership. There’s activity throughout the year. And our social Membership too. All Members receive a discount of 20% at the bar. And all Members can swim in the pool in the summer months when it’s open. Why am I telling you this now? Our rates generally rise once a year – join now and you’ll be at the 2022 rates. If you pay a year in full you’ll receive 5% of the Membership fee on your card. Tennis
Adult Tennis Improvers!
Whether you want to play socially or improve your game in order to play league matches…we are here to help! Sessions take place every Wednesday from 1:30pm. Sign up now and up your game!

Tennis is an incredible sport that you should be playing for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and fitness, but it’s great for your mental health too! Should you be thinking of taking up tennis as your new hobby click HERE and sign up for our beginner’s classes.

Squash & Racketball
From tots to advanced, please check out our new coaching schedule HERE. We have a great range of coaching sessions on offer and would be a shame not to take part.
We have a brand new Ladies’ Racketball session. Starting on Monday from 2pm and the first 4 sessions are free! Non-members are welcome, so as always, please spread the word!

Gym
You do know that we have the best gym and facilities in the area, right? Whether it’s equipment you want to use or classes to attend – or both – we have the right offer to get you fit. January is a great time to commit to a healthier lifestyle! We have a wide range of classes to choose from, including yoga and pilates, spinning and circuits. It’s always a fun and sociable affair! Roast Sunday Lunch
Or next roast Sunday lunch is on Sunday 29th January. There’s a delicious menu that has been put together by our Chef. See the details and book HERE. As you probably know by now, we have changed the booking system to be more flexible on time, lunch is served in the Ballroom and it’s becoming really popular. Why not bring friends and family? Or celebrate an occasion? Or just pop down to the Club for a tasty lunch that’s cooked for you and all the mess is taken care of by us!

Karaoke 3rd February
Uh oh…. It’s only a few weeks to go until our next Karaoke extravaganza! It’s on Friday 3rd February starting at 8pm. Always a very popular evening and non-members are welcome to join in! Bring your friends and family and get ready to sing your heart out. Or just watch others have a go! Hosted by our karaoke masters Bill Greeno and James Blackman – it’s a superb and fun night!

Valentine’s Dinner 11th February
It’s been on sale just for a week, and we have been positively surprised by the volume of bookings. So please book and reserve your table now to avoid disappointment! It’s £49.00 per person and you’ll get to enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner, Pianist Dom Lewis will keep you entertained and we’ll even provide a rose and chocolates.
