Hello!

We may just be heading into Spring, however we’re already making preparations for our Open Day on Saturday 17th May. Do put the date in your diary and please spread the word. With an increasingly turbulent world and difficult economic headwinds, the more we use our Club and encourage others to join – the better our prospects not just to survive but to thrive! With all the sporting and social activities we have available, we have something for everyone! Meanwhile, on to this week’s news;

Events Manager Role

Hannah, our Events co-ordinator, will be leaving us in April. She’s been offered an amazing opportunity within the travel sector and we wish her well on her new adventures! We’re looking for a dynamic Events Manager to join us and build on Hannah’s work to continue building our Events team and activities. More information on the job can be found HERE. If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please email your cv to rebecca@fosltc.com

Padel Announcement

For all Members, you will have received a recent communication with regard to our progress on developing Padel and Pickleball at the Club. David Binns has recently joined the Board and is spearheading this initiative. We intend to continue our mission to bring more sporting options to FOS|LTC and to upgrade the facilities we have – ensuring our Club has some of the finest equipment, sporting and exercise options and courts in the area.

If you are a Club Member and did not receive the communication, please contact Kim. Meanwhile, for all of you who read this newsletter, we will keep you updated on our progress and more information will be available at our Open Day – hopefully to persuade more people to join our Club! We will publish more details of the event closer to the date.
