Pol Roger Champagne Tasting Evening and Dinner | Saturday 22nd February
In its 175 years of history, Pol Roger has carved out one of the most flattering reputations in the select circle of the leading Champagne brands. Each of the wines which bears the name is treated as an impeccable ambassador of their history. For six generations, the descendants have been equally demanding, remaining loyal to the strategy and initiated from the very beginning by the firm’s founder.
£140.00 pp, enjoy 5 hand selected Champagnes paired with canapés and a delicious 3-course meal.
Pol Roger’s UK Development Manager, George Prideaux will be hosting the evening with Martin Heidsieck who is a Sixth generation member of the Pol Roger family.

So why this dinner and why now? Celebrating 150 years since Winston Churchill’s birth (some of the champagnes to be tasted bear his name) and of course it’s reported that Mr Churchill played tennis and was a frequent visitor to our Club. And it’s 175 years since Pol Roger was founded. Places for this evening are strictly limited, so please do book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. This is a special one-off event where you’ll have the opportunity to sample and drink some of the world’s finest champagne and to meet and hear from one of the best makers in the champagne business.
Join Pete Cleverly’s 24-Hour Tennis Challenge!

From 9 am Friday, 28th March 2025, to 9 am Saturday, 29th March, one of our members, Pete Cleverly, will take on a 24-hour tennis marathon to raise funds for these organisations that help poorly babies thrive and provide support to families of children born with lower limb deformities.
