Hello!

It’s been a busy few weeks at the Club whilst I have been away on my travels. Whilst my tan maybe fading fast, it won’t be too long until we can get back outside. And those preparations are already underway. Of course we’ll have more details for you in due course for our Spring and Summer plans. From the feedback we’ve received, our social events are a popular addition and we hope you’ll continue to support them. We’re working on a range of disco, music and other activities for you. We have also improved the offer for parties, weddings and other events you may wish to hold at the Club. We had a blast at our 80’s disco last week! It was so much fun to dress up in colorful outfits and dance to the groovy tunes. Everyone was in a great mood and enjoyed the retro vibe. It was a great hit indeed!

Thursday Night is Games Night

Our ‘Games Night’ on Thursday evenings is catching on fast with more and more of you coming along each week. Kicking off at 7pm, it’s a great fun and social evening with table tennis, pool and darts in the ballroom and board games in the bar, not to mention the weekly special drinks offers. It’s free entry so why not come and join us with friends and family, non-members are always welcome! 

Quiz Night and Dinner | Friday 23rd Feb

Our ever-so-popular quiz night is back. It’s always a great fun evening, and we’ve got some tricky questions lined up for you! And prizes! So if you’re feeling smart and hungry (Chef has put together a tasty supper menu for the evening), or simply fancy a bit of quizzing – do join us next Friday at the Club! Mother’s Day Lunch | Sunday 10th March 

How about treating your mum, nan, or both to a delicious two-course traditional roast Sunday Lunch at the Club? They deserve a break from the kitchen, don’t you think? External Tournaments 

Are you ready for some exciting tennis action this summer? Our Club has a full schedule of external tournaments planned for 2024 and we want you to be part of them! Whether you want to play or watch, there is something for everyone. Check out our external tournaments list HERE and sign up for the ones you’d like to play. It’s always nice to see some familiar faces playing competitive tennis….and winning!

Whilst we are on the topic of tournaments, should any of you be interested in renting out rooms, please let us know. Email katerina@fosltc.com and we will create a list of possible accommodation for players who are coming from far and wide. 

Tennis for Juniors | Half Term Camps

If you’re wondering what to do with your juniors during half-term, don’t worry, we have the perfect solution! Come to our fun coaching sessions on Tuesday and Thursday (20th & 22nd) and let us entertain take care of your children. They’ll have a great time playing tennis and making new friends. And you could have some peace and quiet or simply be able to get over all the chores. It’s a win-win situation! More info HERE. 

Junior 11 and Under Club Sessions | No session on the 24th

Just a heads up that there’s no club sessions on the 24th because it’s a school break. Enjoy your time off and see you soon!
