It is the time of year when we review our membership and other fees. As you will be aware, both the hospitality and sporting sectors continue to face significant economic and cost pressures. Our Club is no exception, and we also carry the ongoing cost of maintaining an ageing Clubhouse.

Both the previous and current Boards have worked hard to mitigate these pressures by increasing income from non‑sporting activities such as sponsorship and rental income. As a result, we have been able to limit the general increase in subscription rates to 3.8%, slightly above current CPI inflation. These changes will take effect from 1 April.

To reflect the additional administrative cost of monthly memberships, we will be introducing a 50p per month charge for all membership categories that use monthly payment arrangements. Members who choose the annual payment option will continue to receive a 5% discount added to their membership card. The 10% family membership discount also remains unchanged.

To support the retention of junior members as they move into adulthood, and to grow our Young Adult membership overall, we are introducing a new Young Adult (19–23) category, priced at a 60% discount to most Adult rates. Existing members in this age range will see a reduction in their fees. The Young Adult (24–29) category will continue at a 40% discount to Adult rates.

The cost of AAA Junior (16–18) membership will increase above the general rate to £120, reflecting access to the Gym, which is not available to younger Juniors.

Bubble and floodlight fees will remain unchanged.

For Fitness Classes, member fees (excluding AAA, Life, or Gym Unlimited members) will increase from £6 to £6.50. Non‑member fees will increase from £9 to £9.50 for one‑hour classes, and from £8 to £8.50 for 30/45‑minute classes.

Free guest passes will continue to be available on the same basis as before for the 2026/27 year, starting 1 April.
