The superstar vocalist Louise Marshall – featured vocalist with the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra (+David Gilmour, Bryan Ferry, Beverley Knight) brings her own unique style to Frinton On Sea.
She appears alongside Multi award winning saxophonist Derek Nash and a stellar trio featuring Neil Angilley (Piano), Geoff Gascoyne (Bass) and George Double (Drums).
Expect a night of Classic Swinging Jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, Blues, Latin and Ballads. Ray Charles to Aretha Franklin, Ella to Sarah.
That smoky voice, surely the by-product of fiery passion, lilts between octaves, smouldering in the embers of truth’s tinderbox. That voice, flowing lava-like, sprung from Vulcan eruptions and shifting tectonic plates, the voice you’ve heard in songs as diverse as the house music hit Cerrone vs. Sweet Connection’s “Misunderstanding” to Jools Holland’s “I Went By”, regardless of genre, there is no debate: that voice burns.
She recently was No 1 in the charts for 8 weeks with “Afraid to Feel” by LF System.
