As you will see below, it’s fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and engagement from members and guests this festive season. The Christmas Market was a huge success, and our Christmas events are either sold out or selling very fast. Thank you for your incredible support.
On court, our internal Winter Tennis Leagues have just begun, with 45 members signed up and ready to compete. It’s brilliant to see such strong participation and energy as we head into the colder months.
Mark your calendars for our Christmas-themed Tennis Tournament on Saturday 20 December. More details to follow soon, but expect festive fun, friendly competition, and a warming glass of mulled wine to keep spirits high.
And for those looking to stay cosy in style, don’t miss our limited edition Club bobble hats, perfect for on court or Christmas gifting.
There’s no doubt about it, it’s all happening at the Club this December.
What’s happening at FOSLTC!
Padel Update!
Many of you will be aware that a number of objections have been raised in relation to the Club’s padel court application. In light of this, the application has been temporarily deferred while we commission a professional noise impact assessment, which we hope will help strengthen the Club’s position as the process continues.

Christmas 2025
The Christmas Market on Saturday was a fantastic success! We welcomed almost 300 visitors to the club and hope you all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon. We’ll be back next year—and we’re also looking at hosting a Spring Market too!

Christmas Raffle!
A big thankyou to everyone who has generously donated to our Raffle this year! We’ve had some very generous donations from yourself and members and also local businesses. Tickets are now available to buy! The top prize is a hamper worth over £60.00!! Plus, we have another 15 other prizes too! Please contact Rebecca rebecca@fosltc.com for tickets. The draw will happen at Carols with Caryll on 23rd December.
