A busy weekend ahead. It’s Mother’s Day this Sunday and it’s a last call to book your table for our special Mother’s Day Roast Sunday Lunch! Please book by midnight tonight. And our 24-hour tennis marathon has begun. Wishing Pete Cleverly luck and fortitude in taking on this epic challenge. All the details are set out below and yes, Friday night IS pizza night at the Club! It’s worth highlighting our Abba and 80’s night on Friday 4th April. Tickets are selling fast and it should be a supertrouperdooper evening!
For many Members, 1st April marks the start of the new calendar year. All the details of our revised Membership rates are on the website. In addition to our initiative to introduce Member guest passes, set out below, we’ll also be launching another Member benefit. Full adult and junior adult sporting Members of the Club (applying to our higher cost memberships, namely tennis, squash and gym) will be able to secure free social Membership at Frinton Links Golf Club, (formerly known as Frinton Golf Club!). We’re just sorting out the final details and will publish them in due course.

Pete’s 24hour Tennis Challenge
Pete Cleverly started his challenge at 9am this morning. He’ll be playing tennis until 9am tomorrow morning with the help of 46 individual players, member and non-members, keeping him company every hour! He’s already raised over £8,000 for 2 incredible charities, Steps UK and the Neonatal Ward at Colchester Hospital. Do pop down and support him, there will be a designated spectator area between 6pm and 8pm this evening in the bubble, whilst pizza is available from 6.30pm. We expect pizza demand to be high so to reserve yours contact 07498 744745
Guest Passes
If you’re eligible, your free guest passes for 25/26 will be available from the office during April commencing next Tuesday.
This initiative has challenged our systems so if your guest passes are not available from the office when you call in, please bear with us and we will produce them for you as soon as possible. And it almost goes without saying but for your passes to be valid, you’ll need to be a Member at the time you wish to use them!
Easter Half-Term Tennis Camps
Tennis Holiday Camps at Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club are open to all juniors, members and non-members alike! With our team of LTA qualified coaches we fully cover all areas of the game integrating a fun and exciting way to learn the skills needed to enjoy the sport. For more information click HERE
Ladies Doubles Grass Court Tournament – Tuesday 10th June
We’ll be putting on a Ladies Doubles tournament on Tuesday 10th June this summer! Players are welcome from any club, and it’s open to Members and non-members are welcome to join us too. For more information view HERE
Lifeguards
It’s not long now! Yes, we’re preparing to open the swimming pool in May. And we’re on the lookout for Lifeguards to get it going for the summer. You’ll need to have an in date National Pool Lifeguard qualification plus the certificate from the course. Competitive rates of pay, to enquire or apply please email kim@fosltc.com.
