We hope you had a lovely Easter and are beginning to get excited about the prospect of the arrival of spring and summer. There will be a lot of hard work to be done over the coming weeks to get our grass courts ready for the summer season, clearing out the pool, preparing our summer menus and sprucing up the Club ready for the Club Open Day – on Saturday 20th May. I hope that date is in your diaries!
Meanwhile, our next Sunday Roast Lunch is on Sunday 23rd April. We’re already beginning to get quite booked up so please do take a look at the menu Chef has put together and reserve your table! You can see the details and pre-book HERE.
Talking of events and thinking ahead, the Frinton Jazz Club makes a welcome return to the Club on Sunday 11th June at 1.30pm with singer Jo Harrop with The Chris Ingham Quartet. These events bring world class musicians to your Club. You can purchase tickets HERE.
I’ll keep it brief this week and will go for a full update on everything that’s going on over the Coronation Bank Holiday Weekend, summer plans and update on our various building works and sporting activities next week.
For now, please do continue to book tennis courts, squash courts and classes. Not forgetting our croquet and walking football activities too. If you need any advice on what’s going on – just refer to our website or enquire via the office. And don’t forget we have coaching and classes available for all levels and abilities as well as our Club tennis and squash for you to get involved and meet other Members.
Please spread the word about our new Membership category for the under 16’s. At just £84 a year to include all sports, not just the pool! (Some exclusions apply with access to the gym for over 16’s and juniors to be accompanied by an adult for croquet and on some grass tennis courts) we really hope this will encourage a whole new generation to join our Club.
We hope the weather will improve too allowing us to return to outdoor sporting and social activities!
Have a great week.
