It’s called easy fundraising because it is! And I don’t feel bad about asking you to get involved. Because it costs you NOTHING. This is the Club’s fundraising partner with this one tool. It’s really easy to use. Every time you make an online purchase and the site is activated, the Club gets a cut. It costs you NOTHING. Whether it’s an online food delivery order, upgrading your broadband, buying a present, holiday or a supermarket online shop. PLEASE do take a look at setting this up and if you are registered, do make sure it’s activated. We have raised nearly £2,000. It can make a real difference. Did I tell you it costs YOU nothing? Right – action stations please let’s see how much we can raise! All the details are HERE.
As you might imagine we have a whole host of plans to continue your Club’s evolution. The big project for the new year will be the works to our thatched roof. Whilst we anticipate some disruption, this should be minimal. And there are a few other projects we’ll be getting stuck into as well and we’ll set out all our plans in the new year. It has not evaded our attention that the cost of living crisis continues to bite and with energy prices still on the up, we are very focussed on ensuring we are as efficient as we can be with our limited resources.
We’ll be doing everything we can to ensure you remain a Member. If there are issues or things you feel need to be addressed, as always we are happy to hear from you. Whether it’s an email or message direct to me or via the office we are acutely aware that this is your Club and in a time of economic restraint, it’s even more important that we demonstrate value for money for you. We’ll keep focussed on delivering and we hope you’ll continue to support the Club. Most importantly, do come and visit and use our facilities and spread the word!
Our Roast Sunday Lunches will be back in the New Year – they really do get booked up, so reserve your table or places HERE.
