As we head into the bank holiday weekend, we hope you’ll be planning a visit to the Club. Our weekend opening hours are as usual and Monday the office will be open from 9am until 12pm. And the bar will be open from 12pm until 11pm.
Onto other matters…
Our most recent Sunday Lunches have sold out. And we have two more planned! Our next will be on Sunday 15th May. And our final one of the season (as we will be serving food from the Poolside Kitchen throughout the summer… details and our brand new menu will be published soon!)… will be for Father’s Day on Sunday 17th June. The menus are up online including a rather extraordinary Father’s Day creation… and you can see the menu and book HERE.
Club Open Day
Please don’t forget that we have our Club Open Day between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 21st May and we are looking for help to distribute leaflets and also to help on the day. If you can spare some time, please do get in touch via the office.
We are continuing to prepare the grass courts for Summer play. They’ll be opening in mid-May and we’ll keep you posted! Meanwhile for ALL tennis courts, a request please… you MUST book. The bubble is not to be used for walk-ons, even if it is not being used. Please book! The system can be accessed by your mobile telephone or even the office so there should be no excuse.
And as we head into the summer period we will continue with bookings for outdoor courts. That means if you have not booked? Those who do, take precedence!

Gym and Fitness
Our sporting pedigree at FOSLTC is second to none. Helping our members to stay fit and trim is one of our key assets.
Our Range of fitness classes includes up to 3 classes every day 6 days a week. There’s something for everyone. Our Spin Class, for example. Soon to be known as ‘Spin Boost’. It runs on Wednesdays at 6pm and for the early risers, Fridays at 7am. It‘s group-cycling without the traffic and without going anywhere! Roberta is our experienced Spin instructor and she will guide all beginners through the 40 minutes with music to inspire your muscles and your mind. It’s not heavy on the joints but is great for boosting your core strength, sense of well-being whilst improving your resilience.
Book yourself in now HERE. For AAA and Gym-U members, classes are included in your membership. For other members it’s only £5 per class!

Our other sporting activities continue. From squash and racketball to indoor darts and table tennis on Thursday evenings. Whatever you fancy, there should be something for you at our Club.
