After another extraordinary year, we have made it. Christmas is finally upon us!

We’re looking forward to singing in the day itself with Carols with Caryll at the Club this evening from 6pm.

Our Club’s opening hours are set out below but please do stop by for a drink or two when we’re open!

We hope that the government will maintain the status quo in respect to any Covid restrictions and that our NYE event can go ahead. We shall see… As ever we’ll react as quickly as we can to deal with whatever comes our way. Meantime, please do stay safe.

I do have a few thank you messages… First, to all of our amazing and hard working team at the Club. It’s through their hard work and dedication that we’ve been able to make it through these unprecedented times and indeed to add to our Membership and even move forward. The organisation, maintenance, service, sporting activities and everything they do makes our Club the special place it is. To my Board and Committee colleagues who, behind the scenes, put in a lot of work to make sure that the Club and its competitions and events can function. To our volunteers who continually help us out with a myriad of issues. And to Ann Towler who year-round ensures the flowers look beautiful! And to our supporters and sponsors who continue to ensure we’re solvent – and to all our benefactors for your support and help with the lighting, saving the Club and refurbishment projects… we thank you again for all your support. And again to our friends at King of Soho Gin for their sponsorship of our Christmas Trees and activities. Thank you!

And of course thanks must go to YOU. Our Members. You have maintained or joined in difficult times and stuck with us. And this year you kindly supported us at the AGM. We do appreciate it. I’d hope that the pandemic has taught us one thing… that what we have on our doorstep is both valuable and worth fighting to save! We have made a lot of progress this year and we hope to keep up the momentum.
