What a week! Our Grade 1 National Under 11 and Under 12 Grade 1 LTA Tennis Tournament continues and will reach its conclusion this weekend. We have seen the most fantastic level of tennis played by the junior competitors. And we wish to thank the whole LTA team who have conducted the tournament with incredible detailed planning, organisation and day to day management. We’d also like to thank you, our Members, not only for supporting the event but also for being so accommodating to our guests and the competitors. The courts are playing superbly and now the tournament is reaching its conclusion, availability of grass courts is much improved. Please do book online or enquire via the office.

This weekend you’ll be able to watch the finals being played – expect an incredible standard of matchplay and please do come and support the tennis talent of the future!

We have a range of events over the coming weeks – including a return of Bingo! (this time with cash prizes!) on Friday 9th June. More of that later.

Our next tournament to be held at the Club is a Grade 2 British Tour to be held w/c Monday 19th June.

Our Poolside Kitchen will be open for breakfast over this weekend from 9 – 11am and as usual for lunch and afternoon service from 12pm until 6pm. (And now we have seen a return of the brioche bun, the chicken burger is clucking fantastic btw – healthy, veggie and vegan food options are available yada yada).

Cake has been VERY popular this week. Liz has baked a variety of cakes and at just £2.75 a slice, why not pop down for a wedge and a cuppa!

Now, you may be looking for fun things to do with the kids and family this weekend. We have plenty to keep you entertained. Our heated swimming pool will be open for juniors with a lifeguard on duty from 12:30 until 5pm, non-members are welcome (subject to booking and paying the fee!)! Please pre-book your slot online to avoid disappointment.
