Hello! January is almost over and 2022 is beginning to settle down. Your Board have had our first meeting of the year and as always there’s plenty to keep us busy! We’ll be in touch with our plans in due course to ensure you’re kept up to date with some exciting developments, inevitable change and host of events and tournaments that we have planned for the summer. But that’s all in the future… for now we have a range of activities for you to note!

Today and tomorrow sees Technogym visit us with their rather exciting piece of technological wizardry. We would love to welcome you to see our fitness facility and for you to have a FREE personalised Fitness Analysis using Technogym’s Tanita INBODY equipment. It’s also it’s a great opportunity for you to acquaint yourself with our gym, the team and everything we have on offer. For home equipment we have a special discount deal for you, as Members as you may want your fav bit of kit at home! There’s a whole range available and we have put some samples on our site too. Half-term squash camps have been launched! We have a range of activities planned for half term for juniors aged 7 – 14. On Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th and Thursday 17th February, you can learn to play or improve skills. At just £10 a session, please book now as spaces are limited! Details here.

Sunday Lunch!
We have two more Sunday lunches planned. The first is on Sunday 6th February and the second is on Sunday 20th February with two sittings available on both dates. Please do book now to avoid disappointment. We have different menus for each lunch and we hope you’ll enjoy! More info here.

We have our Club tennis underway every week. If you’re interested in playing, please do get in touch with the office. In addition, Pete and his team at NeetAcademy also have a range of courses on offer for juniors. Taster sessions are available and there is some limited availability. You can see what’s on offer here.

The winter box league continues, so do remember to play your matches! And finally, don’t forget to get involved with the Colchester & District League. The sign up sheets are up in the Clubhouse or speak to Bill Greeno or Clare Young.

Our bar has a whole range of delicious drinks and snacks available… please remember to bring your Membership Card. In order to receive your discount you must, please, use your card for payment! You can top-up your card any time at the bar.

And we still have croquet and walking football activities – details from the office. Plus indoors there’s the new dartboard, Space Invaders (and 3000 other games!) and table tennis too. See… there’s something for everyone and hopefully a number of reasons for you to come and visit! And since working from home continues, you’re welcome to pop down the the Club, find a quiet corner, have a coffee and make use of the Club’s wifi too.
